Supervis Supervise Superbis

I just realized that the fanlation name for Supervise was totally wrong.

スペルヴィス is directly translated to Supervis, but if you say it out loud, it sounds like Superbis, similar to Superbia.

Think about it, and it makes sense, as Superbis comes from Superb, or something of a higher level, Gemini's dual summoned.

However, the english name completely throws this off.

Seriously, Supervise?

Makes no sense.
How would supervising something make it better?

I still think Konami needs better translators.

  1. Maybe its a pun regarding higher ups on Konami.

  2. I don't think its like "supervise" as in supervising something but more like "Super vise"

Although I honestly can't make out what the picture is of but it would be like an extreme clamp or pressure.

  3. Theres a joke at my local hobby league store based on the translation name that the geminis are so stupid now that we need to "Supervise" them for them to understand thier effects
