Plants and Zombies, a Striking similarity.

So, today we shall talk about how Plants and zombies are ridiculously similar to fight. theyre barely different.
They summon tons from the graveyard.
They syncro tons.
They work well with Burial from diff. Dimension(Mark of Rose and Mezuki).
Both are responible for breaking Card of Safe Return.
Both come out of the ground
both form infinite loops THANK YOU BRIONAC(sarcasm).

You get the picture.
Some Ideas:
If zombies go well with Lightsworn, what about plants? Plants need LIGHT to grow, in case you havent realized. Only, in this deck, the LIGHT is a giant 3000/2800 Dragon with feild nuking abilities.

In conclusion, combating Plants should be no problem if your playing a competetive deck. Its no threat if your fighting zombies anyhows.
Example 1:
Enemy special summons his 3rd lonfire and uses priority to summon gigaplant. Chain Demise of the land for necrovalley. You just won.
Example 2:
Enemy just special summoned his 2nd diabolic from deck. Demise of land for necrovalley. enemy goes WTFBBQ.

See? Simple.
More examples:
Enemy has gemini'd gigaplant on feild, and tons of plants in graveyard.
Use release of spirit and RFP all plants. Drop DAD and nuke feild, summon monarch and OTK.
Example 2:
Enemy has 3 Mezuki and 1 Malicious and 1 PSZ in grave. Use Release of spirit and remove from play all of them. Drop DAD and nuke feild, summon monarch and OTK.

Simple.

In conclusion,
Plants are a fomidible force. But fighting them should not be that differnt from fighting zombies.
Both come out of the ground, Both appear far too green for their own good, Both are non sentinent, both are mass slaughtered in several video games, Both are farmed for food, both desire to consume human brains, Both can play hockey.

CONCLUSION: Plants = Zombies.

Thank you and this concludes todays lecture.

Budget Fairy Control

Monsters
1 Winged Kuriboh Level NINE
2 Archangel Christia
1 Gorz, Messenger of Hades
1 Soul of Purity and Light
1 Cyber Dragon
3 Victoria
2 Dark Valkyria
3 Honest
1 Winged Kuriboh
1 Freya, Spirit of Victory
1 Mashmallon
1 Green Herald
1 Sangan
2 Kelbek

Spells
1 Monster Reborn
1 Heavy Storm
1 Giant Turnade
1 MST
1 Pot of Avarice

Traps
1 Pole Position
2 Mask of Restrict
3 Sakuretsu Armor
3 Compulasry evacuation device
3 Bottomless Trap hole
1 Mirror Force
1 Mind Crush
1 Dust Shoot
1 Torrential

Game plan:
Using your traps, drag out the game forever. The entire trap line up is to kill syncros. Kelbek, Honest, Victoria, Christia, and Green Herald are there for that too.(Note only 1 herald. not because only one works, but I only had one for the budget of this deck.)
"Comboes"
CED/Kelbek + Mind Crush/Dust Shoot
Hand Control
CED/Bottomless/Sakuretsu armor
Monster Control
Mask of Restict, Archangel Christia.
more monster control.
Yeah. I would put 2 Dust Tornadoes instead of Soul of Purity and Light and Pole Position, but Pole position is too good, and not everyone sets cards.

Exams come back.

Hi all. Today, my exam grades came back
Accelerated subjects:
English: 99
Alchemy: 104
Biology: 68
Physics: 100
Japanese: 69
Normal Subjects:
Economics: 67
Math: 102

All are in percents.
... Yeah
... A, A+, D+, A+, D+, D+, A+

Anyhows back on topic.

Today I thought of this great first turn.
Draw.
Gravekeepers Commandant. Search necrovalley
Buster Beast effect: Search buster mode
summon summon preist
throw pot of avarice
summon Mist Valley soldier
Syncro for stardust
Special summon dark simorgh.
Set buster mode, and set anti spell fragrance
activate necrovalley.
Enemys draw phase: Antispell fragrance and chain buster mode.
You pretty much won.
For those who still dont get it:
Stardust/Buster can negate everything. Necrovalley says you cannot RFP it from grave.
You cannot activate spells/traps without setting them. You CANNOT SET them.
You are stuck staring down a 3000 ATK beatstick and a 2700 beatstick with only 1 effect monster per turn, and no spells/traps.

Dandylion Fluff Tokens!

Since dandy is out in the TCG now, you will want to use some nice tokens. Here are 3!

Yes, #1 and #3 are the same picture. Just #3 has lots of effects on it.

You know, the Rose tokens would have been better for the spirit of chinese new year. Being red and all.
But yah. Happy lunar new year. I didnt get a day off of school.

Sunday, January 25, 2009

Black Garden Rose Tokens:

Today, I went to tournament of 64, using my monarch, as usual.
Top 4'd. Owned by Angel Control(not counter).
for 3rd place:
Enemy goes first:
Hecatrice for Valhalla, drops Christia, summons and retreives Honest, and sets 3 cards.
I go second, stare a bit at my 6 tribute monsters, and end.
I get owned.
Second game:
Open with a Kuriboh+Krebons+Tounge Twister, and end with 5 cards in hand and a stardust on feild.
Enemy uses Lightning Vortex. I stop it. The enemy Valhallas Christia and beatdowns. Stardust is totally owned.
No special summon = dead Kuriboh Monarch.

I have made a few Rose Tokens for everyone. As usual, Print on good paper, using Microsoft Word/Similar program to resize them to 89.96 mm by 60.85mm.

To expect in the future:
Goat Tokens.
Sheep Tokens.

Which is your favorite/best art for this batch of tokens?
What other kind of tokens do you want to see in the future?

Elysium Playtesting.

Today, I actually playtested Elysium (Formerly named: The Fields of Elysium).

I met up with a three players Im kinda familiar with/respect as a player at Konami Card Game Center Tokyo, today. Played all sorts of decks.

Things I discovered:
Yamatano Dragon is ridiculously readable. Dropped it. Masoleum of the emperor dies with it.
Elysium doesnt get its "toolboxy" feel until late game.
Undead World and Necro valley KILL Plants.
Too little monsters.

Thus, at the place, I discussed a bit and made some new changes.
New decklist is as follows

エリュジオン ― 魔界の草原
Elysium - Fields of the Underworld
16
2 Hunter Dragon
2 Cyberdark Horn
1 Cyberdark Edge
1 Cyberdark Keel
2 Destiny Hero - Diamond Guy
1 Sangan
1 Spirit Reaper
2 Armageddon Knights
1 Black Bomber
2 Black Feather - Gale of the Hurricane
1 Mystic Tomato

18
3 Terraforming
2 Demise of the Land
3 Dark Eruption
1 Monster Reborn
1 Heavy Storm
1 Swords of Revealing Light
2 Black Garden
1 Undead World
1 Array of Revealing Light
1 Dark Zone
1 Necrovalley
1 Dark City

6
3 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 CCV
1 Mirror Force
1 Torrential Tribute

Decklist: The Fields of Elysium

Decklist!

The Fields of Elysium

1 Yamatano Dragon
2 Hunter Dragon
2 Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude
1 Cyberdark Keel
1 Cyberdark Edge
1 Cyberdark Horn
2 Armageddon Knight
1 Black Bomber
1 Spirit Reaper
1 Black Feather - Gale of the Hurricane

3 Terraforming
3 Dark Eruption
3 Demise of the Land
1 Monster Reborn
1 Swords of Revealing Light
1 Mystical Space typhoon
1 Heavy Storm
1 Necrovalley
2 Black Garden
1 Array of Revealing Light
1 Mystical Plasma Zone
1 Zombie World
1 Dark City
1 Masoleum of the Emperor

3 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Crush Card Virus
1 Mirror Force

Elysium - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elysium
This deck is Field Spell Tactics, using Cyberdarks as the main attackers and win condition. Additionally, Dark Eruption retreives any Cyberdark for re-use. Terraforming and Demise of the land can grab any field spell you want from your deck to use, giving it a toolboxy feel. Beware, however, of Zombie World and Necrovalley, as these are mainly to stop the enemy, and you need to cast a new field spell to be able to fight back.

The Main Idea with this deck was to make it so One Dark Eruption and One Terraforming could solve tons of problems.
Example 1: Enemy has 3 DADs on his field, SOMEHOW.
You: Dark Eruption for Black Bomber, summon, retreive Cyberdark part, syncro summon for black rose, nuke field. Problem solved.
Example 2: Enemy has a JD in play.
You: Dark eruption for cyberdark Keel, equip hunter dragon, Terraforming for Dark Zone. Trade with the JD, dealing 300 damage to the enemy.
Example 3: Enemy has a Delta Crow - Anti Reverse in hand, 1 Armored Wing, 1 Sirroco of Dawn, and 2 Blast of Black Spear on field.
You: Dark Eruption for Black bomber and nuke field.

Since this deck is focused on DARK and FIELDS, "The Fields of Elysium" is a fitting name

Other comboes include: Masoleum of the Emperor + Yamatano Dragon = Reusable draw 5. Set Bottomless for whatever they pay life to summon.
Black Garden + Cyberdarks.
Cyberdarks LOSE 400 ATK and GAIN 1700 when theyre summoned. 2100, with Garden, can take down ANYTHING.
Black Garden + Black Feather - Gale of the Hurricane(flip summoned or summoned before black Garden). VERY painful. VERY.
Dark City + Diamond Guy.
Not really a "combo" here, but yah.
Dark Zone + Bottomless Trap Hole
Can YOU bottomless an armageddon Knight? I can.
Dark Zone + Black Garden
Token is DARK. Free 1300 Beatsticks.

HAPPY NETDECKING!

Note to TCG Players: If you want to make this deck, replace CCV, and Mirror Force with something else. It cuts costs A LOT.

Card Review: Archangel Christia

First things first, my exams are done. Today I had 3 exams, and I had to do 2 in the time alotted for 1. Ambidextrous=win. Im glad I chose to do the Bio and Physics exam at the same time, and the alchemy exam seperate. Alchemy took me 1.5 hours... Total of 7 Exams. :Z
Private school might be nice and all, but when it comes to exam time, you have to do like 3 two hour exams in 3 hours. Scheduling FAIL.

So, Card Review.

Archangel Christia - Level 8, 2800/2300 Light/Fairy
When there are 4 Fairies in your graveyard, you can special summon from hand. If you did so, return 1 fairy from your graveyard to your hand. While this card is on the feild, neither player can special summon. When this card is sent to the graveyard from the feild, place it on top of your deck.

Goddamn broken. Fairies have a new boss monster.
First things first: This thing destroys my monarch. Have to rely on Mashamallon and Spirit Reaper to tribute to take this thing down now.

Next: No special summon is definately the shining part of this card, no pun intended. Special summon like DAD, retreive honest.
Or, how about:
Special summon 2 DAD, realize that you havent summoned, tribute summon Dark Zerato, nuke the enemy feild, notice you have exactly 4 Fairies, Summon this, retreive honest, and swing for game.

Its return to the top of deck thing is not as broken.
Im looking forwards to this seeing action.

DECKLIST TIME.
Many OCG-ONLY cards!
2 Darklord Zerato
3 Tethys, Goddess of Light
2 Dark Perseus
2 Dark Armed Dragon
1 Soul of Purity and Light
2 Archangel Christia

2 Purple Herald
3 Green Herald
3 Dark Valkyria
2 Gellenduo
3 Honest
3 Hecatrice
2 Nurse Reticule, the Fallen one.

2 Valhalla
1 Card Destruction
3 Mystical Mallet
1 Monster Reborn
1 Heavy Storm
2 Allure of Darkness
1 Pot of Avarice

How to play:
Use valhalla to get Tethys to the feild.
Activate a drawing card, or draw in your draw phase.
Draw 10+ Cards
Repeat.
Use Declarers, pitching DARK Fairies to stop the enemy from killing you
Summon DADs, Zeratos, and Archangel Christias
Swing for game

Gold Series GETs

Today, I got 2 boxes of OCG Gold series. Total winnings(Gold rare)

2 Honest
4 Watapon
4 Jinzo
2 Mashmallon
1 Exodia(thank god)
1 Sangan
2 Cyber Dragons
3 Raiza(WTF)
4 MST
2 Swords of Revealing Light
3 Heavy
2 Scapegoat
3 Torrential
2 Mirror
1 Decree
2 Bottomless
2 CCV

I also had THE most WTF Pull in the world.

Yeah. THREE Scapegoats and THREE MSTs in ONE pack.
God Give me a goodamn Dandylion. I want 2 of those things. Brionac can be traded off.

I also bought 2 of the Collector Tin things. They came with a Book-File each.
1 card per page, 20 Pages.
Rau's asessment: Its FAIL. Give us goddamn BOXES or COINs or something with your product konami. Really. Youve shown you can give out awesome pack promos. Now DO it. The pages for cards are TOO LARGE for YuGiOh cards, even with 2 cover layers.

It comes flat, so you gotta fold it up. Hopefully Konami makes some better promos for their other product(namely: Raging Battle). CRMS promo was a folding CARD BOX.

Also: English Collectors Tin VS Japanese Collectors Tin
As you can see, Japanese collectors Tin is less than half the English's size. I wanted a bigger tin.
Promo:
Stardust Dragon(Secret) VS Blue Eyes Ultimate(Gold).

Stardust takes the cake.

I also finished my Core Gadget deck. New post on Gadgets tommorow.

Core Chimails, WHAT?

Hey all. Lately Ive had exams, and thatll continue for a week, so I wont be posting much. What TO expect in coming days.
Tommorow, a post on what I pulled from Gold series and Collectors tins.
Some ideas on Guilty Control, because IT WORKS.

anyhows, today is a post about Core Chimails.
Core chimails are described to be "continued from Raging battle".

Heres what we currently know about them:
They will come out in Raging Battle(pack after CRMS)
We dont even know their official name. Its known to contain "Core" and "Chimail". Unknown pronouncation.

Heres what I think about them:
They Will be a NEW archetype, using something previously thought to be a bad decision to their advantage. Notice the trend lately?
GLAS: Glaidator Beasts
PTDN: Dark Monsters(like we care about any other than DAD)
LODT: Lightsworn
TDGS: Psychics
COSC: Deformers/Morphotronic
CRMS: Black Feathers
All are GOOD archetypes with support that are newly introduced in those packs. They all have made it to tournament level decks with good cards(other than Deformers, which are a whole), namely: Gyzarus, DAD, JD, E.Tele, Gale of Hurricane

so, following the trend, Core Chimails WILL be doing something REALLY weird together as an archetype. EG: Milling self, returning to deck, RFPing your own grave, paying tons of life for weak effects, changing battle position, special summoing at random and owning at battle.
My prediction: Do something with making having monsters power each other up(eg: when this card is sent to graveyard, put 1 core chimail counter on a monster on feild, and that monster gets X effect, X ATK, and X def), OR summoning to spell/trap zone.

Another thing:
Konami WILL make them strong AND cheap enough to introduce people to tournaments, which will cause them to make more money. If they dont have a boss monster, Konami will make in a later pack.

Lets ABUSE a random crappy card

Today, we will have a lecture on deck building.
Step 1: Find a card
Step 2: ABUSE IT ENDLESSLY
Step 3: Put Filler into the empty slots.
Step 4: Tack on cool sounding name.
Today, we will abuse THIS GUY:

Archfeind of Gilfer/Gilfer Demon.
Its a Level 6, Dark, Feind, 2200 ATK, and 2500 DEF.
Effect:
When this card hits the graveyard, you can activate its effect to make it an equip spell card and equip it to a monster on the feild.

In the Manga/Anime, its a card used by Yugi. Just like a ton of other cards.

Lets analyze this thing.
Archfiend of Gilfer...
Archfiend

Oh wow. Its an Archfeind.
What does that mean?
Archfeinds are a archetype. That means it just got a ton of support.
Archfeinds Roar. Trap form of instant reborn. AND it can attack.
Falling Down. Snatch steal, need I say more?
Pandemonium. When destroyed, this thing snatches you an Archfeind from the deck.

Level 6: One Tribute. Meaning it shares the ways of getting tribute fodder with monarchs. Mixing with monarchs? Ok.

Dark, Feind. Allures, DAD, Dark Creator, wow. Just tons of possiobilities there. Just very expensive possiobilities.

2200 ATK/2500 DEF. While this card is unsearchable by anything, its ATK is JUST above the Cyber Dragon line, and its DEF is just above the Monarch line. Meaning its nice and tough for 1/2 Attacks. Even more, if youve been throwing down monarchs for a few turns without busting this out, you can set it for a major suprise.

Now, the effect.
When this card is sent to the graveyard, you can activate its effect. You can then equip it to a monster on the feild, and this card will be treated as an equip spell card that decreases the ATK of the equipped monster by 500 points.

Lets analyze.
When this card is sent to the graveyard, you can activate its effect
Key words: CARD, CAN
Card. That means, it can be sent as a spell card, or a monster card. From ANYWHERE. It does NOT say feild. What does this mean? That means that you can use Foolish Burial, Dark Grepher, and Armageddon Knight to send this to the graveyard. As a spell card, you can use Manevolent Catastrophe, or other spell/trap removal to send it to the graveyard.
CAN. This means that it can miss the timing. How to avoid that? You cannot use Dark Grepher, since its sending for sp.summoning and sending from deck is costs. You also cannot tribute summon and activate its effect. However, you CAN tribute set to activate its effect. This means that if you tribute the monster equipped to this, however, you can still activate its effect.

You can then equip it to a monster on the feild, and this card will be treated as an equip spell card
Key word: This Card
This card: That means the equip spell is NAMED Archfiend of Gilfer. Falling down? Yes PLEASE.

that decreases the ATK of the equipped monster by 500 points.
Key words: None
Decreasing the ATK of an equipped monster may seem like nothing, but think.
That means that your Armageddon Knight can take down a stratos, while gettting under CCV. HOLY DAMN. On TOP of that, when Archfeind of Gilfer hits the graveyard from the battle, you can activate its effect and equip it to Armageddon Knight. 1400-500=900. 900 is less than 1000. Armageddon Knight is DARK. Use your imagination.

Effect as a whole? That means that Archfeind of Gilfer hitting the graveyard at any time can change the ATK of an attacking monster. Now, HOW can we acheive this? Easy. Spell/Trap removal that is activated on the declare attack step. Manevolent Catastrophe. Now, if your thinking, you MIGHT notice that equipping your own monsters with Archfeind of Gilfer will keep it on the feild, going from monster to monster, usually your enemies. Manevolent Catastrophe lets you instantly reset the equip targets for Gilfer. Example: Summon Armageddon. Equip Gilfer to enemy Stratos. Swing over stratos. Set manevolent. End. Enemy: Summon grepher, attack. You activate manevolent, and destroy gilfer, activating its effect, equipping Grepher, and the enemy hits himself/herself for 200. You proceed to say: "stop hitting yourself. Really. its bad for you."

Lets throw together a deck from this, including some filler.

2 Exodios The Ultimate Forbidden Lord (Recycling Gilfer, Tribute Fodder)
1 Gorz The Emmisary of Darkness

1 Mebius The Frost Monarch
1 Raiza The Storm Monarch

3 Gaius Julius Caesar/Caius the Wicked Monarch
3 Archfeind of Gilfer

1 Cyber Dragon

2 Armageddon Knight
1 Mystic Tomato

1 Sangan

1 Spirit Reaper

1 Necro Gardna

1 Morphing Pot
2 Mask of Darkness

3 Falling Down
1 Heavy Storm

1 Monster Reborn

1 MST

2 Foolish Burial(for Gilfer)

1 Pot Avarice

1 Brain Control

3 Goblin Good Housekeeping

3 Reckless Greed
2 Manevolent Catastrophe
1 Threatening Roar

1 Archfeind's Roar

Total Cost:
3 Caius - 3o$
1 Mebius, 1 Raiza- 5$
Gorz- $10
1 Cyber Dragon - 3$
2 Armageddon - 5$
1 Sangan - $2
1 Monster Reborn - $3
3 Archfeind of Gilfer - $12
The rest SHOULD be free.
Total: 70$

Now, last but not least, the name.
Since this deck IS built around abusing Archfeind of Gilfer, lets keep Gilfer in the name, in a shortened form. Gil sounds nice.
Tei is the Japanese for Monarch. Since were mixing that into the deck, lets put that into the name.
Tei can be pronounced by a non Japanese as Tee.
Lets say that out loud(close doors)
Gil Tee.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guilty.
Of course, Guilty is an adjective. You dont call something A Spongy, so lets tack on something else.
Since we ARE taking monsters away from the enemy, and trying to run some interfearance, its kinda control. So lets tack that onto the name, although we have no control whatsoever.
The completed product?

This. Meet Guilty Control. A new deck.
Banner is from MS Paint. Amazing freeware. Gay colors from MS Paint.

To Get List.

To get:
2 Calling Nova
3 Armageddon Knight
1 Dark City
1 Undead World
1 Black Garden
1 Necrovalley
2 Hound Dragon
1 Black Bomber
1 Ultimate Offering
1 Limter Removal
1 Swords of Revealing Light
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 CCV

Guess what deck I'm making.

March 1st Banlist Predictions!

Hey. You all are wondering what March 1 Format will be like, so heres my Opinion on it, taking into account EVERYTHING.
This is NOT what I want to play by, but what we WILL play by.
Italics means a perhaps so, perhaps not.

Newly Restricted:
DAD
JD
Chaos Sorceror
Magician of Faith
(either one of these two)
Nobleman of Crossout
Card of Safe Return(If its not banned outright)
Burial from a Different Dimension

Call of the Haunted

Newly Semi'd:
Mezuki
D-Hero Diabolic/Malicious

Glaidal Beast Gyzarus

Emergency Teleport

Return from Different Dimension

Newly Unlimited:
Summon Preist
Magic Stone Excavation

Remember what Konami's reasoning for banlists is:
"Money first, then Japan's metagame balance. SUPPLEMENT: TCG can go to hell"
With Gold Series OCG newly out, thats whats the main guiding factor for whats limited/semi'd, hence the no Honest change, and no CCV change.

Whats your opinions on this?

EXTREME Budget Building: D.D.Arkana Turbo

Everyones built a budget deck. What you probally havent done, is make a Budget deck, then make a deck from those scraps! Thats exactly what this is. Making a deck from scraps of scraps. This is EXTREME Budget Building.
Total Cost? $10. Maybe those 2 Arkana Force the Worlds MIGHT cost you a bit, but everything else might as well be free.
Basic Concept of this deck:
Summon Arkana Force, and turn its coin toss effect into a Draw 1 Effect with By Order of the Emperor/Emperor Order.
Use Macro Cosmos to shut down enemy decks. With Macro up, you can special summon big Arkana Forces easily with Miraculous Descent, DDR, or Return from Different Dimension. Turn their effects into Draw 1 and TURBO.
Return from D.D. Might as well write: Pay half your life to activate. Draw 5 Cards.

Decklist!!:
2 Arkana Force XXI - ZA WAARUDO
3 Arkana Force XIV - TEMUPARANSU
2 Gellenduo
1 Cat of Ill Omen
3 Arkana Force VII - ZA CHARIOTTO
2 Arkana Force VI - ZA RABAAZU
2 Arkana Force IV - ZA EMUPERAA
2 Arkana Force ZERO - ZA FUURU

2 Boundary of Light
2 Release of Spirit
3 DDR - Different Dimension Revival (English.)
1 Giant Turnade
1 Heavy Storm
1 MST
1 Creature Swap

2 Curse of Royal
2 Needle Ceeling
1 Torrential Tribute
3 Macro Cosmos
1 Return from Different Dimension
1 Miraculous Descent
3 By Order of the Emperor

"+X Advantage"

Whats all this talk about advantage about? Why so much emphasis on a card being "good" or "bad" due to its "+X" or "-X" Advantage? Sure Stratos/Airman is awesome, because it gets a +1, but I think people are thinking too much about "Advantage."

Advantage is a theory. But in the end, its just a theory. What is there during a duel? Is there advantage? No. What is there: You, your cards, your brain, them, their cards, and a hollow space where they should have a brain. Is there "card advantage"? No.

Therefore, in practicality, choosing cards because they gain advantage is a bad practice. One should choose cards due to their practicality and usage.

Using full use of your cards is what really works. Thats how I win.

What about you guys? do you think in advantage during play?

KAIEN the Emmisary of Darkness.

Well, since Gorz came out relatively recently in the TCG, Ive gone out and made some Tokens that Gorz brings out. Feel free to use them/Copy them. I use the first one myself.

Simply:
Save Image
Open Microsoft Word/Other Word Processor
Import Image
Re size to 86.96 by 58.56 mm
Copy several times, if you want
PRINT!(On good paper)
Place in sleeve, with common card behind it.
And Its done!

Some background on Kaien(Like you care):
Since places other than Japan never got Yugioh R, I guess most people wont know, but Kaien, along with Gorz, is summoned through the trap: "Stairwell to The Underworld", which activates when you get damaged(no need for empty feild), brining out a 2700/2500/Dark/7/Feind, Gorz, and a 2500/2700/Dark/7/"Feind?", Kaien. Even MORE broken than what we have in Gorz right now. Kaien is female, a contrast to Gorz being a male.

So, what deck does Rau run?

Hmm. Thats a nice question.

Nice and layed out for you.
Yes, Rau runs an equal 12 Tribute monsters and 12 non tribute monsters. Its Syncro Vanity. Feel free to netdeck. Because this one work, and not some variant with Psycho Commander/Devil Sanctuary/only 4 Monarchs.

Side:

And Extra:
Yes Rau's extra is very expensive. No Brionac though. Its overrated. And sucks in this deck.

Strategy?
1: Use Kuriboh Flute
2: Drop Monarch
3: Nuke Feild
4: Attack
5: E.Tele for Krebons
6: Swing
7: Syncro
8: Pot of Avarice.

The Simple Side Deck - Side Deck for Everything

Now, many people have trouble siding out for things, and making a side deck. So I threw together a side deck for people who cannot build one by themselves. This side deck was put together with cost in mind.

The Simple Side Deck: 15 cards.

2 DDCrow
3 Trap Eater
3 Release of Spirit
2 Manevolent Catastrophe
2 Cloak and Dagger
2 Winged Kuriboh
1 Treeborn Frog

Okey. Lets explain what is for what deck.

DDCrow is VS Undead Syncro. They try to revive, Crow them. Simple. 2 of these due to cost restraints.

Trap Eater. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Trap_Eater
See an Opression? See Skill Drain? Grab 3 of these from your side deck ready before the duel is even over. This thing, needless to say, OWNS Traps.

Release of Spirit: Taking down Undead syncro.
Now, WHY Rau, would you need 5 RFP cards JUST to take on one deck type?
This is because undead syncro is by far the most deadly/explosive and using the graveyard the most of all decktypes. Thats why. Pull these also for lightsworn.

Manevolent Catastrophe.
VS Gladial Beatsticks. In the OCG, many gladial beast players pack tons of backrow. forcing them to spend half their life on solemn or forcing a draw with Bribe is very nice.

Cloak and Dagger - "I own Stardust Dragon/Buster".
I think I'm one of the first people to notice this, but this thing just owns any /Buster decks out there, singlehandedly. Killing monster reborn is an additional plus. Chain this to buster mode and the enemy is kinda dead meat.

Winged Kuriboh.
This, at 2. Unless you main 2. This kills lightsworn, showing them their fear they try to avoid by killing you fast, decking out. Buying a turn might not mean much, but VS lightsworn it means quite a lot.

Treeborn Frog.
Get the enemy to waste their DDCrow. Simple. Can be 1 more Cloak and Dagger, depending on your fears.

Afraid of Tele-DAD? Afraid of TCG decks? Dont be. You should have plenty of ways of fighting back in your main deck.

Ore no turn! Draw!

Blog Post 1- We come in Peace, You greet with Malicious Intent

Hello to all who care enough to read this.
My name is *Censored* , but most people online call me Rauzes or Rau. I am "Japanese" by passport, but as the blog titles suggests, my blood is far from it.

Welcome to my Yu-Gi-Oh blog. Now, what sets me apart from anyone else's blog?
I live in Tokyo, Japan, my English is "fluent", and I play OCG.

Here, I'll post random Yu-Gi-Oh thoughts and toughts of my daily life(to a lesser extent).

So, welcome to The Gaijin Duelist.
